FAQs on FEU Makati

 1.     What and where is FEU-Makati?

FEU-Makati is a branch of Far Eastern University.  It is located at the heart of the country’s central business district, Makati – at the corner of Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia), Zuellig Loop, and Malugay St.  Coming from EDSA and turning on Buendia, it is the building before The Columns at Ayala Avenue.

2.  What academic programs will be offered at FEU-Makati?

The academic programs that will be offered are:
a.    Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA)
b.    Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSAT)
c.    Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Major in:
       •    Business Economics
       •    Financial Management
       •    Human Resource Development Management
       •    Legal Management
       •    Management
       •    Marketing Management
       •    Operations Management
d.     Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT)
e.     Master in Business Administration (MBA)
The undergraduate programs are run on a semestral calendar while the MBA is on a trimestral one.
In addition, FEU-Makati will be offering seminars and certificate courses under the Center for Continuing Education such as the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for accountants; Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA); Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE); culinary arts and food service courses; among others.

3.     What are the requirements for admission to the undergraduate programs at FEU-Makati?

The requirements for admission are:
a.     Satisfactory grade in the FEU College Admission Test (CAT)
b.    High School Form 138
c.    National Statistics Office (NSO)  birth certificate

4.     What are the requirements for admission to the MBA program at FEU-Makati?

The requirements are:
a.    Satisfactory rating in the Graduate Level Test (GLT)
b.    Satisfactory interview results
c.    Official college transcript of records
d.    Letter of recommendation from current or former employer and from former Dean or Professor
e.    Work  experience

5.     When and where will the admissions tests be held?
For the undergraduate programs:

Weekdays - 1 p.m.; Saturdays – 8a.m. and 1 p.m.; Sundays – 8 a.m.
For the MBA:nThe admissions tests will temporarily be held in FEU Manila.  Announcements will be made   when the testing will be moved to FEU Makati.

6.     If one has already passed the FEU-CAT, are the results valid for admission to FEU-Makati?

YES.

7.     Can an IABF  second year student taking a similar degree program in FEU Manila transfer to FEU Makati? 

NO.

8.     Will FEU-Makati accept transferees from other colleges?

Yes, following CHED and FEU policies on transferees.

9.     Will FEU-Makati offer scholarships?
Yes.  Inquiries can be made at the FEU Admissions Office, and at the Office of Student Affairs.

10.   When is the enrollment period?  Where do students enroll?
The enrollment period is from May 3 – June 11 for the undergraduate programs, and May 3 – 22 for the MBA. 
Enrollment will temporarily be done in FEU Manila.  Announcements will be made when the enrollment will be moved to FEU Makati.

11.     What is the tuition and miscellaneous fees of the various courses?

The tuition and miscellaneous fees are given in the FEU website: www.feu.edu.ph Development fees will be charged in FEU-Makati.

12.    When will classes open?

Classes for the MBA will start on May 24.
Classes for the undergraduate courses will start on June 15.
