Last month, American Singer Ray Sidney visited the FEU campus in line with the Philippine International Jazz and Arts Festival. He bonded with some FEU students at the Auditorium in a “Black Gospel Workshop”, which coincided with the U.S. celebration of Black History month and FEU Auditorium’s 6oth anniversary. The workshop also featured Israeli singers Adi Cohen and Paula Valstein.
The 4th Philippine International Jazz Festival (PIJF) which lasted for almost a month was reportedly to be a huge success. It was presented by ABS-CBN’s Cable Channel and Print Management Group (CCPMG), with flagship brands Lifestyle Network, Velvet, Metro and Metro Society, jazz fans and enthusiasts attended the various events offered by PIJF and were able to meet their favorite Pinoy and International jazz icons.
