For the third time, Internet Sensation Charice appeared in the Oprah Winfrey Show and performed her first international single "Note to God" written by the legendary songwriter and Grammy winner Dianne Warren, and produced by equally legendary music producer, David Foster. Jojo was actually the first to record this song in her second album, but it was Charice who was first to release it as a single, and it is currently available for purchase at itunes and Amazon. As of this writing, Amazon ranked Charice's Note to God as the #1 downloaded song for the past 24 hours after it was featured in Oprah; #5 in itunes and counting.
In the Oprah show, Warren said, "I had written the song, and when I heard [Charice's] voice, I thought that would be the perfect song [for her]," she says. "And, wow, did you prove way beyond what I could have hoped for!" Meanwhile, David Foster says that watching Charice sing reminds him of when her first saw Celine Dion perform at only 18 years old. "In my world, this only happens two or three times probably in my lifetime," he says. "[Charice] doesn't crack under the pressure. That's so important. The more you lay on her, the greater she becomes, which is just amazing."
Charice international album will be released later this year. By then, It will be featured again in the show. Also this year, marks the showing of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel where Charice landed her first film role.
