Tams on a seventh winning streak

 Barroca making his way through UST’s Ababou and Mirza

Far Eastern University started the second round of the 72nd UAAP men’s basketball tournament with a victory, leaving the University of Santo Tomas to 4-4 slate, 75-67 final score on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum. Led by Marc Barroca with 23 points (3 points shy of his career-high point), the Tamaraws proved once more their team character and being the best defensive team in the league out skilling the Tigers, whose offense focused mainly on Dylan Ababou and Clark Bautista. The Tams managed a win albeit a one game suspension to veteran teammate Reil Cervantes. With this win, FEU is tied again with Ateneo at the number one spot, 7-1 win loss card.
