Tj Manotoc shares his ‘Hepalane’ encounter

HepalaneAs the FEU community is gearing up for Coach Spoelstra’s visit in the campus gym Tuesday morning, TV personality Tj Manotoc (covering the event for ABS-CBN) shares via twitter his encounter at the infamous “Hepalane” along R. Papa St. – the street bordering Far Eastern University, University of the East and where Philippine School of Business Administration and the FEU Gym are located. The so-called Hepalane – left photo (Hepa as in Hepatitis, Lane as in Food lane) is flocked by students not just from FEU, UE and PSBA but students from other schools within the area for its variety of yummy street foods to eat i.e. Fishballs, Burgers, Kwek-kwek, Isaw, Siomai rice etc.   – Its literally a cheap on-the-go fast food lane, only that it may not have the cleanest preparation around as any other street foods thus where, Hepatitis [A] comes along – the risk everyone should chew over, so does Tj .

After an hour Tj Manotoc tweeted: “thanks to a few FEU alumni scaring me w[ith] the name "HEPAstreet", I ended up w this for breakfast” (see video)

Then TJ said, “I was imagining that scene since last night! But my wife warned me and then a few FEU tweeps call it HEPA? Pass nalang :)”
