PNoy’s first SONA is not a holiday

Presidential spokesperson Atty. Edwin Lacierda says President Benigno Aquino’s first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 26, Monday will not be declared as a national holiday as it used to be under the previous administration of then President (now congresswoman) Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.  Last year, Arroyo declared July 27, the day of her ninth and final SONA, as a special national working holiday to celebrate “INC Day”.
