Why Red for Valentine's Day?

RED roses are to Valentine's Day what kisses are to love; they make it that much sweeter. Thanks to their beauty and fragrance, RED roses have long been a Valentine's Day symbol. Valentine's Day is primarily a lovers' holiday, and RED roses are traditionally for lovers. "Valentine roses" and "red roses" go hand in hand. Around the globe millions will be spent on RED roses this coming Valentine’s Day. The RED rose symbolizes PASSION, true love and devotion. After all, Love isn't a decision, it's a feeling. If we could decide who to love, then, life would be much simpler. As the saying goes,

Roses are RED,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet;
And so are you

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
