Operation Typhoon Ondoy: Tams in action

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERISM!

A call to every FEU Tamaraw students, alumni and supporters: we encouraged you to join ANY relief operation available near your place at least once in this week for the victims of typhoon Ondoy, which to date claimed 246 deaths, 38 missing and 334,959 families were affected.

Here's a shortlist on where you can donate or volunteer:

For cash or in-kind donations:
1. FEU's Tamaraw Bayanihan at NRH bldg starting 8am-5pm until October 2, 2009 - PRIORITY
2. NoyMar relief Ops: contact persons, Clare Amador 09285205508 or Jana Vicente 09285205499. Drop off is at Balay Expo Center across Farmers Market Cubao.
3. ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya: accepting donations at No. 13 Examiner Street, Quezon City. please look for Ms. Girlie Aragon. Call 413-2667 or 416-0387.
4. GMA Kapuso Foundation: office at 2/F Kapuso Center Samar St. cor. 11th Jamboree St. Diliman, Quezon City. Call 9827777 loc. 9901/9904/9905.
5. All Petron, Jollibee, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 7-11, Mail and More, FedEx, Air21, McDonald's branches nationwide.

For volunteers:
1. Philippine National Red Cross: operations are open 24 hrs, for more details call 5270000 or dial 143. Walk-in volunteers may go directly to PNRC Port Area, Manila.
2. GMA 7 Kapuso Warehouse at Tandang Sora: volunteers may contact Shielana Ward at 9317013.
3. Megatent at Meralco Ave, Ortigas beside Renaissance: Open 24 hrs until Friday.
